This release contains the new anti-zerg system the community helped design. It is not enabled yet, but will be soon. I wanted to give the community a heads up first. This is a first pass and will likely need tweaking. Please report issues in the bug reports channel on Discord.
What this means for you:
One of your characters cannot move to within 10 blocks of another of your characters. The game will simply not allow the move, and will tell you why. When your characters are 11 to 15 blocks apart, you will see a warning message. Nothing is blocked yet. It is just a heads-up to move them further apart. When one of your characters does something (fights, builds, heals, searches, speaks, or enters a building) that area stays closed to your other characters for 12 hours, even after the character leaves.
What you don’t need to worry about:
You can never get stuck. If your characters somehow end up close together, they can always move away. Only moving closer is blocked. Idle characters don’t count. A character you have not played for about 5 days is ignored. It blocks nothing and is blocked by nothing. Most players will never see any of this. If your characters live in different parts of the city, nothing changes for you.
